No vroom noises with this car, it's 100% electric! 0-60 in four seconds, 135mpg equivalent, and a 250 mile range that costs you roughly $0.01/mile. Finally an electric car that can really move! It's too bad that they're calling for an $85k price tag (too rich for our blood) for the first model, but a less expensive sedan is planned for sale in 2008-2009. We can't wait!
Drool now, buy soon! Tesla Motors.

Men in the midst of a mid-life crisis are pretty amusing creatures. They think they can fix their lives by buying fancy cars and cruising around with the top down. Well, nobody will succeed as well as this guy. While checking out Los Angeles this weekend for bad fashion, we spotted him loading his BATMOBILE onto a tow truck.
A batmobile, people.
Granted, the photo we snapped with a cameraphone isn't very high res, so you can't see the custom chrome rims with the bat insignia, but we think it still conveys the cool-factor of being behind the wheel of a batmobile. This khaki-pants crusader obviously spent quite a bit of time and money on his creation. Hopefully it fills that existential void for him.
Rev the engine. Please. Oh yeah.
