This One Candle? That Smell Like Skulls? Or Not? posted on July 20, 2006 08:40 PM by rethwyll.

photo_060720skullcandle.jpgSo we saw this candle and we were like HELLA excited, because we were all like, "Skull Scented Candle? That's, like, SO. GOTH. Awesome." Then we realized that it wasn't actually a SKULL-SCENTED candle but a skull SCENTED CANDLE. And we were, like, TOTALLY BUMMED, because we were really looking forward to finding out what a skull smells like. We don't hang out in crypts or anything, so we can only imagine, but we think it would probably be kind of dusty and crackly? Like an old stick? (But only after it totally dried out and everything; not, like, while the skin was still rotting off it and stuff.)

So we were all like "FINE, so it's not actually skull-scented." I mean, I guess it's still kind of cool and all, with the skull etched in the glass on the outside. And Forbidden Fruit-scented sounds sort of badass, like "Hello... FORBIDDEN." Not as badass as SKULL, but it's not like it's vanilla or something. So that's cool. Unless skulls totally DO smell like Forbidden Fruit. Because, if so? ROCK.
